Curry house in Rusholme

Back in the UK next week and want to take the kids to curry mile as they have never been,it was 20 years when I last went.
Which curry houses can you recommend?

Barely any left mate. the "Curry mile" is now the "sheesha and barbershop mile" due to the insane number of Kurd business owners who have pretty much taken over most of the buildings with either sheesha, or barbershop or middle eastern food outlets.

That said, not all is lost, there are a few well placed curry houses, the original Sanams is still going strong, a new but very popular is myLahores; a very nice restaurant that has a menu for everyone (you can google it) so incase nobody wanted a curry they would be well catered to here. Also is Jilanis.
Also I believe Mughlis is still in business, as is Sher Khan.
There are also the standard kebab places that also do curries like saajans, abduls, spice kitchen, camel one.
A new place has recently opened Manjaros i believe is a grill chicken place, not sure about curries as I have never been.
The places for Mediterranean food are nice, Marmara being one of the best, as well as jaffas so check them out too if you have time.

If you want the best curry then try Akbars on Deansgate, their chicken tikka masala is better than my mothers lol
