Looking for an exhaust shop that will do me a resonator replacement (straight pipe instead of resonator) for my car but will do it with clamps and not insist on welding it...so if it sounds too droney I can easily fit either a magnaflow resonator or the OEM one back on.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Graeme at DCMS in Burnley is worth a call to, he has a very good rep with a lot of the owners clubs.

Are Blueflame still going?

Found these but in Staffordshire - didn't the original Blueflame used to be up Burscough way and run by the former Dubsport guy?

I contacted https://www.alunox.co.uk/ to ask them to quote me for building a complete exhaust system for my Saab and he didn't even have the decency to reply. I was told by a few people who know the business, that his work is good but if there isn't any decent money in it for him then he's not interested.

How do you know he didn't reply because there wasn't enough in it for him?
Maybe he didn't get your message?

I’d also recommend JP Exhausts.

Because some work colleagues who know him well tell me that is par for the course with him. His work is first rate but he is fussy about what work he takes on. Thanks but no thanks goes a long way.

As Laverda4life, Alunox is very good, but can't be bothered with what used to be his bread and butter, he now has some large contracts with big company's he is not interested in one offs and charges extreme amounts of £ if he has time to fit it in between the contract stuff, it's a shame as it was our one offs in the beginning that gave him his reputation.
