Events in North West

Anyone know why some motoring related events, particularly in the North West, don't seem to get much talk of as far as sites like this go?. One event I learned about through chance browsing was a classic car parade that took place in Liverpool city centre a few years ago (not sure if this event has been held since), involving a parade and static display of various motors from different periods. As far as I'm aware this event was never mentioned on PH for some strange reason.
