Lexus gearbox repair / diagnostic, Cheshire

Any recommendations in Cheshire please? I haven’t had much luck.

2005 IS250 automatic with gearbox issue.

It's East Manchester rather than Cheshire, but I've used Tameside Transmissions in Droylsden for years.

Are Autolock in Crewe still any good with automatics? I believe they used to be.

They said they may not have the correct equipment for diagnostic as they mainly deal with European cars.

Whats wrong with the gearbox?

Sometimes it wouldn’t get into higher than third gear. (Getting more frequent)

Apparently fairly common with this auto box.

He used to look after my dad's 2004 IS200 somewhere in Neston years ago - I think he's ex-Lexus and should have Lexus software etc.
