Another good little meet. Mildly moist weather appears to have put off a few previous posters, but it did clear up late morning and was good enough for a few of us to bomb down to Bolton and have a mooch around the Porsche Centre there.

[quote=GTDB7]Hello sheikh,

Will you be joining us for our next meet on 17th April?

I was going to email Daniel at D1 U-GT about travelling over to Amari next month.

Fingers crossed for better weather.

A big thank's to all who turned out yesterday.

I enjoyed my crash course on Porsche engine bay's and M3 I-Drives :-)

Lee's Cerb was good, nice exhaust note, the M3 sounded very nice too and not forgetting Mark's Griff.

Photo's will be up shortly, I have been busy since getting home repairing our heating and hot water :-/ all fixed now so back to regular programming.

Hi Phil , yes defo would love to thanks, got to decide which car to bring!!!!!!?????? any suggestions?

Amari

Yes, despite the weather it was a good turnout.

Sheikh, as a personal choice from what you had in the showroom during January I would suggest either the "599" or the "White Diablo".

If the weather is good then why not the "Enzo" ;-)

Looks like the m3 was camera shy hohmm

I hope to make it again in april if I'm in country.

Was good to meet like minded petrol heads and was nice chatting to Drew and his family about the monster RS6.

Would like to pop into Amari as trying to decide what's next on the list.

Yes Apologies for not getting the M3 or others on photo. I took most of the pics earlier on, snapped a few engine bays later and then forgot about the camera, even though we did chat about video systems :-/

Hopefully someone else managed to snap a few photo's.. fingers crossed.

Its not a problem. Was a pleasure chatting with you. You must send me details of the lil video camera you described. Sounds like it could be a load of fun.

It was nice to meet you Shane. Having a mooch round your M3 has made buying a new pal for the RS6 a little harder. That's another one added to the list! Annette loved it and has already been trawling the PH classifieds .

There's a do on at Amari's on the Sunday around 11 if you fancy a run out that way.

Charity do for the RSPCA, I recall.

Not to worry David,

It was a good meet, not as many as there has been in the past but this meet had some very nice vehicles present.

Photo's to follow when I get time to edit them.

Nice turnout at Amari with some cool 80's Lambo's. The Diablo VT was there again and a Countach 5000 too.

Rich from SCD turned up though I never got to speak with him.

Paid my dues to the RSPCA and headed off to finish off my chores for the day (shopping).

Shane's new car looked well.. and one of my all time favourite Fezza's F355, paid an appearance and Amari had several of them too which was great.

biggrin

Think I may have a few new stone chips now though after your little detour on the way to Amari. You car did sound good though on departure!!!

If any one has any pics or video drop me a link.

Was a good day and great chatting to you all.

Anyone going this morning?

I'm going to see if I can come over and grab a bacon buttie whilst my wife enjoys a lie in!

Hi all I'm new here.

Will this event be going ahead on September 18th?
I have recently moved to the North West from Ireland and hope to attend some events such as this one.

Unfortunately i'm not driving anything interesting at the moment. However i'd love to check out some of the cars on display. Is this OK?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Johnny

Yes Sep 18th is the next one. All are welcome to our little meet, it is a pub car park after all! I should be there and have a blue 993 so come over and day hello.

Dont worry about not having anything interesting yet. I am sure we can advise you on that one!!!!

Thanks MTR,

Wow a 993, definately one of my favourite 911s! I will make it my business to come over and have a nose around. I do envy you sir.

Looking forward to this, i'll have to bring my camera and take a few snaps.
