Grey F10 BMW M5 on Qatar plates by the Editor's Draught in Leeds last night.
Sounds like Leeds is the destination for the C grade princes....Walk past 200 degrees coffee shop and it’s rammed with every seat taken.
Quite a few spotteds on here last year were ME cars running around Leeds. The M5 (which is usually parked just by Roxy/Nero on Joper Basinghall St), jag F type, Datsun 240Z, rolls, bentayga, huracan etc etc. All on ME plates. Oh, and a yellow mustang often outside where my partner is also on Qatari plates.

Saw a black Lamborghini Urus this morning on Bootham, perhaps unsuprisingly heading towards St Peter's school. It actually looked a lot nicer in the flesh then it does in pictures.
They should've stayed 'LM002' outsize brutal Tonka Toy style for their Soft Roader IMHO, rather than 'Avantador on Krispy Kreme'/Protein Supplmenents.
I can appreciate the AMG 6x6 & G wagon of late, not that I'm in the market , but the Lambo is quite a challenge to appreciate in form alone. Queue something from the 'class A' substance abusing aftermarket boys or suchlike

Aye up Mr B. I have to say I think the Urus, particularly in a non-shouty colour, is actually quite a subtle car for the Uber 4x4 market. Certainly alongside the Bentaygas and rolls Royce offerings. First one I saw last summer was in the offensive Puerto Banus but in a bright blue and it looked rather nice I thought. The yellow one I saw with Peamy at a car show on the other hand looked a bit wk.

Agreed on the ME influx. I've seen plenty in Leeds city centre with everything from an RR Wraith, G63, several M5s, a high-power Nissan Patrol, that yellow Mustang, right down to a MINI Cooper and even a Kia Soul on Kuwaiti plates in Roundhay!
That is the thing that surprises me. Quite a lot of the ME cars floating around Leeds are not in the supercar league. Why pay the £15k fee to ship the car over and back? To drive an ME registered car with the steering wheel on the wrong side for a few months. Not like the Kia or Mini will be poser enough to show off and would think you could buy one outright for what the shipping must cost alone. Bizarre. Shnozz said:

Probably some kind of local tax write off, plus no speed cameras to worry about? Also some will be here for years...?Wills2 said:

I believe there are time limits for using non UK registered cars in the UK, they can seized. In any event, even if they are here years, when the shipping charge is greater than the vehicle value I still can’t see any point?! Even the speeding ticket point doesn’t stack up surely when it’s non-endorsable on a foreign licence so only a few quid here and there against a massive shipping charge?!
One of life’s mysteries. If it’s a case of more money than to question the economics I would have expected some higher value cars.
