Saw a Volvo 480, with it's pop up lights up, at about 8 this morning on the back road between Haxby and Shipton, always loved them, even as a child they always caught my eye.
And again, this time going through Haxby at about 2:30 this afternoon, pops up were down this time though.DaveyBoyWonder said:
Yellow Integrale coming down Tadcaster Road in York at lunch with the plate "I RUB" (I think). Caught it out the corner of my eye whilst watching the dog do a poo
30 odd years ago that plate belonged to a Car Dealer who had it on a White 911 Turbo with Martini Strips and had it cleverly displayed as ' 1 ROB ' funny how things stick in your mind but I can still picture clearly even now....

Wonder if it was the guy who owned jubilee motors on sticker lane, latterly Moor Park Garage on Killinghall Road Bradford? Always used to see the exact same car there can’t remember the registration though.
E63 AMG on the A1 south just after the Aberford spilt. Not sure of the correct Mercedes model code but it was the 5.5ltr one. Sounded lovely as it accelerated past. Had a private BMX plate so for a minute thought it might be Mat Armstrong but I doubt it was.
Then a black Rolls Royce Wraith going at a fair rate at the A63 turn. No my cup of tea but no denying an amazing car with amazing road presence.

A yellow Cerb (I think) was a sight to gladden the heart this morning. It was turning off Gillygate in York this morning about 7:45.
Followed shortly by a spot of a much less glamorous but equally unusual Citroen C6 parked on Bootham Terrace.
I saw the/a C6 parked there a week or two back, I thought it must have been a hotel guest, but maybe another local interesting car.Followed shortly by a spot of a much less glamorous but equally unusual Citroen C6 parked on Bootham Terrace.
I must have just missed the yellow Cerb (and you), I was walking down Gillygate away from York at about 7:40.

The Cerb was turning left onto exhibition square - one of those “sounds interesting- is interesting!” moments!
The C6 is a regular there, but I haven’t worked out if they’re a regular visitor with a preferred hotel, or someone that lives down there but works away a lot. Always nice to see though!
I saw the Austin 7 again a few weeks ago as well in the middle of the cold snap - brave soul.

I've seen a yellow one around there before, but not so early on a Monday morning, would have brightened my morning up too I think, I was walking with my headphones on, so whether I'd have heard it is uncertain.

I saw the Austin 7 in the Bootham traffic one evening a few weeks back, I think before the cold snap, but still cold enough to think him as being brave.
