A couple in Bingley this afternoon, GT4 RS going into the M&S petrol garage, looked great, has some real road presence. Then a 5.0 Mustang GT going through town which sounded lovely, must have been an aftermarket exhaust.

Love this, just seen pulled up in Stamford Bridge, back seats full of mucky dog blankets and a cool old boy and his pooch getting out. Asked if it was his daily, he said yep not got many years left so may as well enjoy it. Asked what his weekend car was and he said 1900GTI Peugeot. What an awesome fella, made my day that has smile

Had to google as didn’t know what it was - Christmas Tractor Run.
Spotted that lot just past Barkisland by pure chance: https://www.halifaxcourier.co.uk/whats-on/things-t...

That's a great spot there.

Another nerdy observation is the 'UG' suffix - the car was first registered in Leeds so has certainly stayed local enough.

Had to do a bit more research. Current keeper since 2023, only 4 MOT failures since 2007 when it had approximately 60,000 miles on the clock, and since then has only done 9,000 miles.

The type of car that would make a pretty penny at a Mathewsons auction.

This car lives on my street (taken the number plate out just because it's in a garage and it feels more polite as it isn't on the road)

The lady that lives there I only ever see pottering in her garden keeping it immaculate and really doesn't seem to be the type to have an oddity Japanese hot hatch in the garage.

I've never seen it out the garage either, just when I've walked past and the door is open.

Afew today, no pics as I was busy either riding or driving. Lancia Dedra laid up on axle stands on the tops above Hebden, Nicely modified E46 M3 also above Hebden in the sticks. Then a jacked up y60 Nissan Patrol (in UN white course) on Burnley Rd, slammed Honda Legend shortly after.

No pictures as I was driving but coming out the other side of New Mill this week, near that pub on the corner (Red Lion?) that snuck into a couple of episodes of LOTSW, some white Ferrari cabriolet, very ‘60’s looking (some 250 or 330 variant perhaps), with thin Italian flag strips going down the middle like cobra stripes.

Can’t be any more help than that and if you’ve seen it you’ll know, but it looked amazing and if a genuine car, probably with more than my house.

Seeing this in the car park at Waitrose in York made me smile.
Well loved with stickers for long-distance rallies.

I was never a Volvo man but my son bought an 08 Estate a couple of years ago when he changed jobs to sell motorbikes and lost his Company Car. I’m quite impressed, ultra reliable and very practical for a young family with two dogs.

Saw a Volvo 480, with it's pop up lights up, at about 8 this morning on the back road between Haxby and Shipton, always loved them, even as a child they always caught my eye.
