Hi All,

Recently moved to the Pocklington/Market Weighton area from Surrey, and now need to replace all the trusty independents etc I used to get things done at.

First on the list is a tyre supplier/fitter that can be trusted? Looking for Michelin pilot sports, and somewhere that can balance a wheel without 8 million weights on it.

Thanks in advance.

Not specifically a tyre shop, but, I've used Rossmoor Garage in Melbourne (it's just a few miles west of Pocklington) for years and would highly recommend. You won't get the car booked in for at least 3weeks or so, which I reckon is a good indicator of their work.

It's a bit further to travel but I've used Tech Tyres on the outskirts of York for several years. Always found them helpful and keenly priced. Got an amazing deal on a full set for my Elise a couple of years ago.

Crown tyres is brilliant... mobile, will come to your house or work and you can watch. Lives in Market weighton, very popular guy. Andy Kirby is his name.
website is Crown-tyres.

Tend to use Peter Winn Tyres in Pock for our own cars and put up with KwikFit for the lease car frown
