Got mine booked in for refurb on all 4 wheels later this month. Googlemaps reviews are good and found a post from a member on here in the 'what have you done to your BMW today' thread who had his done and they look superb. I was planning to use The Wheel Specialist at Garforth but I'd have to leave the car overnight and the logistics for getting back home and back there again don't work (I'm over on the west side of the county). I can get the bus home from Dewsbury Rd. They are a tenner more than TWS (£312 vs £302 all incl for 16s) so I'm hoping they're going to do a top job as I'm a fussy sod !

Let us know how you get on. I want all four wheels repainting fairly soon.

Got it back this morning. Wheels are beyond excellent. You'd think they were brand new out of the factory if you didn't know better. Had MOT done this aft and we were underneath the car inspecting the insides as often shortcuts are taken here, but the attention to detail in the recesses on the backs of the spokes is perfect, same for the wheel nut holes. I'm about as fussy as they get but these are flawless. Very happy. smile

Will get some pics up after I wash it. Was running late for MOT and it's been pissing it down so they're mucky already from the road spray. grumpy

Nice one, thanks for updating. How long did they need to keep the car in?

2 days. Not that it's relevant, but I actually left mine with them over the weekend due to being able to get a lift back home from a neighbour on the Friday (wasn't booked in til Monday) and although it was ready about 10am on Tuesday I didn't pick it up til this morning as the MOT had run out and I was taking it straight to test. Their compound is locked overnight so I didn't mind leaving it with them.

Note that they are on around a 4 week lead time currently if you're planning to get yours done. They don't take cards, it's cash or bank transfer only and there's a £40 non-returnable deposit required upon booking.

Cash only and a deposit (presumably in cash with no receipt) on booking? I think I'll give that one a swerve!

Cash OR BANK TRANSFER. Everything is receipted and you get a full VAT invoice. Deposit obviously to help stop time-wasters not bothering to turn up on the day and losing them business. I don't see a problem with that.
