I'll try me best depends on how wrecked I feel after my birthday party.Something tells me it's going to be an all nighter.

Any firm meeting points been decided on? I live in Hathersage so it would be ideal to bring the Chim out for a blast with some other TVRs.

PS The food at the Cheshire Cheese in Hope is infinitly better than the Castle in Castleton, can get v busy on a Sunday lunch though

Sorry, can't make it.

Got a major and very serious excuse tho.....

I'm going to Crewe that weekend, to see a Duran Duran tribute Band

(It was arranged a while ago. More than my life's worth to cancel now).

(Please feel free to take the p*ss Chimgirl.)

No meeting points yet.. Think I am going to have to be a little more organised than usual as at this rate, we'll meet, drive 5 miles then stop for lunch.. Engine's will hardly be warm by then..

Oh well, that means I'll have to get the TVR out later to test some routes.

Happy to take other suggestions for pubs. Never been to the Cheshire Cheese, but both the Dore Moor Inn and Foxhouse are good..

I'll probably do it whilst driving down to Crewe, turning the rear view mirror towards me. Isn't that how women do it ? :grabscoatoffdownpubsharpish:

I think its cool. Partly due to the fact that I helped to build the stage there years back!

I went with a group of 12 mates last Saturday to a 'Bee Gees' tribute band. Not really my kind of group but they were ace and had a top, top night.

The band area is downstairs and isn't massive but there are 7 bars in the place in total.

Get there in good time to get a good spec downstairs. (I suggest right near the stage on the dancefloor, as it usually turns into a disco after the band have finished). If you are prepared to get bladdered and have a good night, you won't go too far wrong.

Great atmosphere. Its a dark, lively proper 'rock' night type of place.

Hope you enjoy it.

Edited because I'm stoopid!
