well I just had to do it. On my shopping list of cars is the VX220 turbo - I couldnt get it out of my head so had to bok a test drive.
Thanks go to Steve at Nidd Vale for the loan of the car for an hour.
Tghe countryside around Harrogate was welcoming and with dry roads SPECS and I had a hoot!
Nearly called in at Chim Girls and Adamskis but thought that the sight of me in anything other than the "EBF" would leave them cold!

SPECS ha got to stop saying - Oh my God and theres a car coming, especially when ones overtaking!

Well have I got it out of the system - NO
It goes like stink - handles extremely well and cost a reasonable price.

The down sides are that theres no luggage space, no room inside (passenger has to hold right arm across chest to enable driver to change gear)

Onward then - 911 and griff to test!

Bugger! You should've called in, we're suffering sports car withdrawal, the Tuscan is still in Wigan.

Someone take him out in their TVR to get him back into the spirit of things

You're only allowed a VX220 as a 2nd practical car, in addition to a proper one

I'll have a go at the April one, but can't do March due to a skiing holiday. She does need driving more though.......

Excellent Sounds like you got a good 'un Rich. Any photos? I did ponder the VX220 as a lease car before I got her outdoors as my practical car! Made the only sensible (??) choice!

My Wedge does exist really I never seem to be able to both be in York and have a working Wedge at the same time for a meet! Off skiing the weekend of the next one She even works at the minute too! Headlights and everything!

cheers
Dave

Nope, not me or she. I'm on the m'bike to work during the week as traffics not too good at that time. So if you see a R Reg Black CBR600, please wave

As for her outdoors, she's entirely silver. Have a look at my profile+website for pics. You may well see her round those parts as I live fairly close to centre. Did I hear a rumour you're moving this way or am I going mad and imagine it?
