I thought it was a kitted up TT when I first saw it....

(no offence intended - I think it's just the matching sideblades that wrong-footed me)

Got mine back from The Wheel Specialist in EK, pretty happy, £288 inc VAT, went for smoked chrome centres with shiny rims. Just need to get my struts back from Germany now!!!

Looking good JC - is your car in Morrison's with no wheels - clever security measure - but would have thought the lack of suspension would have taken care of that! biggrin

Haha, I put my turbo wheels on it while they were done, but yes you couldn't drive it away with no front struts!

Hi Johny, those wheels look great. Did you get them to split the rims first? and if so any issues (bolt breaks etc)?
Thanks

No just blasted and painted, it was prohibitively expensive to do anything else!

Ah okay. I've got some BBS split rims and was keen to get the wheels split but had heard horror stories of bolts breaking; spark erosion not working and grubby (but serviceable) wheels being trashed. Yours look liek a good finish, have you had any bother since with corrosion at the joint? Thanks.

No, it wasn't very long ago and they've not been out much but they still look like the pictures.

I got an email from East Kilbride The Wheel Specialist the other day offering 25% off 4 wheels, free chrome valves and a free bottle of their Waterless Car Wash System if wheels were refurbished before Christmas.
So if you are considering sure you could get the same deal if you asked.
