Hi all!

So 2 years ago, a lovely man from this forum brought his Ferrari F40 over to surprise my partner for his 30th Birthday, and also kindly took him for a spin in it!!! Needless to say my partner had the best day of his life as it's his favourite car and it was the first time he'd seen it in person (and I see why, it's amazing!) This was down in Kent where my mum lives; we live in central Scotland.

We are getting married in 3 weeks, and would LOVE to have the F40 in a couple of the wedding pictures and to surprise him as he definitely wouldn't be expecting it. I know it's a big ask as it's a rare car, but i'm wondering if anyone knows of someone who has an F40 in Scotland so I can contact them and ask if they could bring it to the venue for even just 10 minutes (although i'm sure people will crowd round to see it so probably a bit longer!) I would ask the man I saw before as he was fab but I think the 400 mile journey might put him off lol

Any help would be appreciated biggrin

There's a young chap on Instagram called Sam De Hann, he owns a F40 and I believe he resides in Kent, he's probably your best bet lol.

If you type 'SDH Ferrari F40' in google you should be able to find him/profile..

Good luck!

I'd love to help but I live in Australia and don't have a Ferrari F40. If someone in the U.K. Has one I can fly back and assist it getting to Scotland.

There is a Ferrari owners meet and track day at Knockhill on the Saturday 18th May .
It celebrates the 70 years of the marque and will attract loads of cars so perhaps a visit there will help .

There used to be a guy in South Alloa that had one, along with some other Ferraris. I live up the road and would sometimes here him "testing" it up and down the main road. Awesome noise but I haven't seen it for a few years

Woodlands Motor Company in Fife recently sold one but I doubt they would let you know who the new owner was, its probably gone out of the country anyway.

There is one just outside kincardine, not sure how willing the owner would be though.

Our Scottish Indy Car World Champion has one locally.
He is a very nice chap but could be too busy or out of the country?
If it was important to me I would try and approach him.
