Speaking to a colleague the other day who had got a new car. Turns out he always uses the services of an auction buyer, somewhere down South. Tells him what he wants, he goes to auction and gets and then delivers up to him. Saves a huge sum against second hand showroom prices.
Conversation got interrupted so I never got to question him on warranties, what if you dont like etc scenarios but made me think, is there anyone Scotland based who does this service? I know a few indie garages who would probably do this if I asked but mark up would still be to cover their larger overheads.
