Inverness at the weekend, what to do?

Detour over the Old Military road past the Lecht on the way home (or there) as the A9 is a soul destroying section of road... much nice routes to be had that take in some nice scenery and have plenty scope to stop for tea and cake if that's your sort of thing. As for Inverness, if your missus is like mine and obsessed with Outlander, a wee trip to Culloden Moor will earn you brownie points.

Check the road reports though. Lecht could well be a struggle, depending on car, tyres etc. It will also be mobbed with skiers if conditions ok.
