Had my 2015 Astom Martin Vantage 4 weeks now and when I put it in the garage and towel dried it this evening (yes - I'm still at that stage), I noticed a number of what looked like minor stone chips on the roof, bonnet and even windscreen. I'm convinced they weren't there when I washed the car on Saturday, and towel dried it again on Sunday night in the garage.

I'm convinced some kids must have thrown a handful of gravel at it this evening when I was parked down the town (Kirkintilloch!!!!).

Any good recommendations for someone to look at it/make minor stonechip repairs in Glasgow/Central belt? Would that be a "detailer" or body shop?

There is always "chipsaway" - but not sure they would think it was worth doing - I'd also be anxious to let such a generalist look after a reasonably high end car. I'm trying not to be snobbish - but would want someone I could trust not to make it worse?

Any good recommendations out there please?

If you are near to Kirky, then McLarens or Ferrymill would be a decent shout. Just make sure to tell them it's not an insurance job. The quotes might be more palatable then.

I posted up looking for recommendations a few months back and ended up using Keith Malley at Chipsaway. He didn't do any stone chips, he painted a scuff on front and rear bumper, but I'm really happy with the finished result - better IMO than some bodyshops I've used in the past. I'm in Stepps and he came to me so pretty sure Kirkie would be in his area.

From chatting with him he's being painting cars for years, and seems to do a fair bit of high end stuff.

I've used Ferrymill in the past (5yrs ago+) and been happy with their work also.
