Ah well, someone had to !

Got a weekend booked with the boys in Sauze D'Oulx again, wanted to try somewhere else but really difficult to get long weekends in other places for sensible prices although Andorra was an option. Also got a week with the clan and another family near Morzine which we haven't done before.

Looking forward to having my own skis for the first time (K2 Konics that were really impressive as rentals in Samoens this year). Also got some decent second hand ones for the missus and daughters.

Just in the last steps of finalising what we are doing for next season.

Last season we hired a place for 6 months and used it for school holidays, a few adhoc weeks in-between as well as quite a few weekends.

That turned out to be quite expensive, mainly because all the sundry expenses like mountain restaurants added up.

This year, we have decided to drop the weekends and keep it to just the school holidays. So I'm just in the process of agreeing to rent a place for a total of 6 weeks, again in Samoens.

Looks like we will get 2.5 weeks over Christmas and New Year, 1 week at half term and just over 2 weeks at Easter (which comes much earlier next year).

Actually starting to look forward to it already!

Going to Pila in Italy in February, accompanying my son's school skiing trip.

Although I spent a few hours learning to ski in Finland about 15 years ago, I'm going to treat myself as a complete beginning and go along to the lessons with the kids.

Also hoping I don't mess my knee up, have had two operations in the last year!

I’ll be off to Tignes the first week of December with the Snowheads PSB and then another season of long weekends (plus the odd week) in the Grand Massif. Can’t wait as I’m already getting withdrawal syndrome from this year and it hasn’t even been a week since I was last on the slopes biggrin

Half term week in Oz en Oisans already booked.
Back country week in PdS planned, just waiting for dates to be announced.
Usual Ischgl trip a bit up in the air as one of the regulars can't seem to decide when he's emigrating to NZ, so if he'll still be here/able to come back.
Looking at another week but could be somewhere in Austria, PdS, or Arabba in Italy.

As I'm taking voluntary redundancy at the end of this year, and I'm not allowed to work whilst on notice, being Jan-Mar inclusive, I think Mrs.RC and I will be going skiing quite a bit in the new year!

Nothing booked, yet..... but since we're already on *this* side of the Channel, it's fairly easy. smile

Perfect reasoning to spend a good amount of time in the mountains and put everything into perspective. Hope it works out well for you.

I've booked flights for a solo trip on opening week in Whistler 28 November- 8 December

About to book family return to Whistler 26 Dec-5 Jan

Waiting for mates to confirm a) dates for Japan end Jan and b) annual boys' trip to Chamonix end Feb/early March.

And if snow is good in March/April, will head to Whistler again whenever flights are cheap.

Already booked Meribel again. Hoping for a bit more sun this time - we had blizzards and lifts closing while the week before was entirely blue skies!

Only just booked my 'summer' holiday for November, but I hope to do some skiing again in 2020, after a fantastic week in Kirchberg in early February.

I fancy Saalbach-Hinterglemm having watched a downhill race from there a couple of years ago as the piste seemed to have a bit of everything!

No idea where or when I'll go yet, will probably decide after Christmas.

Just booked a trip back to Banff for the end of January. Not been there during thermal underwear season for a while as I usually go mid-April, so I'm looking forward to some proper cold stuff. Might even get some use out of my elasticated crampons.

I did like this year's stay in Whistler, but I didn't love it. Glad to have revisited the area, although it hadn't really changed much, but couldn't get into the vibe of the place - if that makes sense?

So I've re-booked somewhere where I always feel comfortable just for something to look forward to. Yes, yes I am getting old! laugh

1st trip booked - week in La Rosiere beginning of April - 14 of us in a chalet - should be fun/liver damage is a serious possibility.

As an aside - i’ll be driving to the resort - a 1600 mile hoon/round trip to look forward.

Ferries/Chunnel not yet bookable.

Slovenia during February half term.

Krvavec, Vogel, and Cerkno are my favourite slopes and all will get a visit.

We booked our annual family trip last night, a week in Morzine at the back end of Feb. This will be our 5th year there and really looking forward to it. Nice to see flights are 40% cheaper than last year and car rental is 23% cheaper. I doubt lift passes will have gone down in cost, but we'll book early to get the 10% discount, so not all bad.

Just got to book the lads trip away now, which will be in Austria.

Will be standard St Anton trip in March for the 23rd season on the bounce and thinking of going back to Kitzbuhel in Jan as we've not been for 8 years or so. Wouldn't mind seeing Cervinia either .. only seen it when I stayed in Zermatt about 12 years ago
