Edinburgh area; meetup & runs out.

Surprisingly; I couldn’t find anything similar already covering this, unless I just didn’t see it!
There must be like minded car enthusiasts in the Edinburgh area looking to meet up occasionally, and also arrange the odd evening run out when the weather is on our side?
I’m happy to pull things together, or help of there’s already a set up, even get a closed WhatsApp group together, so we can suggest something last minute etc..

I'm either out of touch or looking in the wrong places but car stuff in general seems a bit lacking of late? The breakfast meets have gone quiet, the bigger events are stupidly expensive especially if you're only going for a couple of hours and even 'car guys' in this area seem few and far between. I'm in East Lothian and it's rate to see anything that looks like it's just out for a random drive, enjoying a bit evening sunshine. Shame really.
Things moved off pistonheads really.
The runs got too big with too much unwanted attention. Some people moved away/ on with their lives.
The glasgow side got better organised and now have their own website

There's a few of us that like to get out for an occasional run, but trying to get a time when we're all around/ available, and the weather is nice; that's the tricky part. You're more than welcome to join me/ us.sherman said:

Thanks Sherman. I'm sure that there's always the potential for these things to grow arms and legs. I'm just looking for like minded folk, who like the occasional run out in their car, when the weather's good.The runs got too big with too much unwanted attention.
