Hi All

Nothing really current in the Car Specialist thread so was wondering if anybody has had their alloys refurbed and/or repaired in the last 6 months in the Glasgow area. Quick search has found:
The Wheel Specialist
Wheel Pro
Alloy SOS
Paint Works Bodyshop

Looking to get a couple of TVR spiders done. Would anybody recommend or has used one of the above.

Thanks!

I have used this company for several years and have always found them to be both excellent quality and fair in price.
They have done numerous split rim refurbishments and colour matching jobs, always been very happy with the results.
I usually deal with a chap called Ed, who I believe is the owner.

Many of the samples posted have really bad orange peel.

Looking at the guy who runs it, it's the guy formerly of The Wheel Specialist East Kilbride and they had a poor name.

Mike did an exquisite job for me a number of years ago on a set of 996 GT3 split rims inc the replacement of may of the rim bolts. He was troublesome to get in touch with but well worth the effort as the job was first class.

I have used Addie who is based in Hamilton for numerous wheels over quite a few years and found his work excellent. /he is through the top cross lights on the left

Always busy but does what he says at an agreed price. This is for refurb. If a wheel is damaged and bent then it would be someone different.

Hi All. FYI stuck 2 spare alloys into Wheel Pro in Springhill area and picked them up today. One was a refurb the other a buckle fix and refurb. Look very good and well finished. So much so have booked the car in in a few weeks time to have all 4 on car alloys ones done. Thanks again for your suggestions.

peterzoom up above called it for Wheel Pro plus they had some positive reviews online, so that swung it

£150 total for two wheels being refurbed plus cost for one of them being repaired before refurb. These were for 18" wheels, assume charge may vary for different sizes.
