I saw an ageing Vauxhall vectra today with two people dressed as coppers in it!

I would hope there’s an explanation and times aren’t that hard...

I’m almost positive there was a blue 06 Honda on Tuesday that had someone pulled over on the M9!

I've been looking through my past posts on here

The red audi avant - RJ11PLZ - looks to have been retired. A google search throws up a for sale ad from March this year. 180K miles, one owner. I wonder how honest the seller was about the one owner?

I clocked a white poverty spec looking BMW 3 series today.

It had decloaked and pulled another BMW just off the eglinton interchange on the A78.
Wasn't close enough to get any more detail.

Saw a 2017 plate Mazda 3 heading onto the M8 a few days ago at bathgate but what caught my eye was it had the anpr cameras mounted on the side mirrors then as I got along side them at the roundabout I noticed that they were in high viz vests and could see the anpr gear as well

Just saw this topic.
Was behind an unmarked white Hyundai i30 in Dingwall a while back.
Also heard that Harry Fairbairn in Inverness have supplied a couple of unmarked BMW bikes to Police.

Anyone know what the white van sitting on the raised verge beside the M90 approach to the Queenferry Crossing on the Fife side this afternoon is. It wasn't marked as a mobile speed camera van more like a traffic Scotland monitoring unit. It had what looked like a camera or some sort of scanning device on its roof. It was parked at an odd angle to the carriageway with no open windows so I don't think it was a laser unit. I see similar in that area quite often. Any clues as to what it might be and what it's for?

Thanks diesel. After a bit more research I think it was what is known as a TRISS van - Trunk Road Incident Support Service. They send CCTV images back to a control centre so in the event of an accident or breakdown they can help. At least I hope so😉

Saw a blue/grey colour Mondeo saloon (SY61 YBJ) yesterday on A96, stopped a car just east of Nairn.
Spotted it again today on A9 at Evanton.

Also saw a silver Volvo estate in Elgin yesterday. No more details as tailgate was up when I drove past.

A very average looking new shape battleship grey Volvo XC90, smallish wheels and nothing out of the ordinary bar it lit up like Blackpool.

Clocked today on the A1 just near the Tranent slip road East bound.

You wouldn't look at twice... very covert..

There's more of them appearing on English plates these days - seen a Yorkshire plated dark BMW stopped on the M8 recently. Absolutely nothing to tell it from the thousands of similar generic German repmobiles, other than, as you say, the light show.

EDIT - just spotted the post from November about a similar car. I'm sure the one I saw was a 68 plate though.

White BMW 3 series

May have been LR... but anyway, white BMW 3 Series in base white, sat quite low and with the full compliment of covert lights on the rear shelf etc.

Spotted around east end of Edinburgh / start of the A1 a couple of times recently
