Spotted a silver A4 yesterday, eastbound on the M8, heading out of Glasgow, pulling a couple of people.
We spotted him having just come past charing cross, heading back onto the motorway from the hard shoulder, having pulled over a Corsa.
We were a few cars back, he'd flashed his blues when pulling back on, so everyone around knew it was a cop car.
So naturally, everyone sat behind him, and no-one dared to overtake, doing low 40's in the 50 zone.
As we headed out towards the M80 cut off, I pulled out when there was a gap, (said traffic car was a MLM, who didn't know how indicators work, he was replicating a regular Audi driver perfectly) to pass the 2 cars behind him, and him.
Was showing 55 on the speedo, which I know is bang on 50. At which point, some eejit in a white Mk1 Mondeo came zooming up bahind me, sat on my bumper, flashing his lights. I'd only passed the first car, and he pulled into the adjacent lane to the left, so instead of carrying on, I pulled in to let Mondeoman past. He hoofed it past the lot of us, and instantly, the Audi was onto him and pulled him over.
I doubt he's on here, but if he is, you deserved that, dumbass.

Can't be bothered to check back...
Fife are currently running a couple of BMW's both spotted a short time ago tag teaming a chap in a Clio westbound on the A92 just after Kirkcaldy.
SV59 CVO - A white, non-description 5 series in white with little wheels and also sitting pretty low on it's suspension. To be fair, it looks like one of their current traffic cars, minus the stickers or perhaps a new one that hasn't been decorated yet. Seems a ratehr obvious 'unmarked' car.
SV59 CVK - A grey, non-descript 3 series tourer with fairly big wheels but no other obvious signs aside for the red LED's in the rear clusters and inside the rear window.
Registrations may not be 100% accurate.

I can concur with this one, Grey BMW SV59 CVK spotted Thursday evening A92 westbound, hurtled past me chasing down a motorbike, apart from the myriad of blue LED's from the front it'll be very very discreet in stealth mode. Only clue on the rear was blue LED's in the reversing lights.
Black Audi A4 on the A1 approaching Asda (Edinburgh Jewel) just after the slip road up from McDonalds. The good news - his strobes were on, a marked Volvo pulls up behind him, driver of A4 (complete with white hat) not looking pleased. Come out of Asda to see breakdown truck dragging it on board. Cheered me up no end!
Are Strathclyde Police now equipping their bog standard CID cars with blue lights?
I know they have several Focus and Astra bog standards that can light up front and back when required but my daughter is positive she saw one of the CID cars that just says "Strathclyde Police" on it pulling someone - just had blue lights behind the grille, no sirens or anything?

Just a puncture - doesn't have a spare! They've been very active on the M77 this week - on Monday there were 4 seperate Traffic cars that had managed 4 seperate pulls between Jct 1 and 2 simultaneously, 2 on each carriageway. Marked up Shogun, new 5-series, X5 and unmarked 59-plate 3-series Touring, most activity I've seen on the M77 in a while.

Not surprised tbh. I only ever seem to be the only one doing 50mph!samvia said:

Yea they have been active on the whole stretch of the M77 the past month, every day there has been a marked up traffic on one side of the motorway just before the main Kilmarnock junction (on the slip road so you dont see them until its too late) at New Farm Loch, and an unmarked dark blue Audi A6 with reg beginning SF...... (cant remember the rest) patrolling up and down the M77 Fenwick - KilmarnockGassing Station | Scotland | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
