Hi, since I brought the Scotland Regional forum up on Monday thought I'd best say hello.

Originally from Dumfries but work in Edinburgh(where everybody thinks I speak a foreign language).

Certainly makes things easier identifying who is Scots or Scots based (as profiles don't always show it).

A meet of some sort, sometime is fine idea.

The Scottish region was a fine idea too

Live in Aberdeen but from much further north originally. Working abroad most of the time now so dont have to suffer this place too much.

cheers,

based in aberdeen, let us know when a meet is planned, somewhere central, maybe around perth or knockhill, both fairly central for those north and south of the flat bit between the forth and clyde!

I'm in scotland too. But more of a interested bystander due to lack of vehicle problems! I go to uni in Edinburgh but originally from Fort William.

Well I'm here too in Fife.

For 'things to do', track days, meets etc you could do worst than look at the Diary on www.tvrcc-scotland.co.uk. I try to keep it up to date with track days and things of motoring interest in Scotland/NI (but there's not much in it for 2004 yet). Obviously it has a TVR bias to the events, but there are already quite a few Knockhill sessions scheduled.

We have another one of these planned for this year, over your direction. Hopefully more people involved this time if we can get some of the lads from south of the border involved.

Will do that, no problem. We were actually planning to do the route you had on a map on your website last summer but never quite got round to it. Maybe this year.

Perth seems a good destination for everyone - but what about Crail as a venue? I've never been but I think it's in that general locale...?

ceebmoj - we were testing at East Fortune yesterday, been back and forth to that track and Knockhill over the past few weeks as part of our ramp-up to launch the car. Should have a feature in the next issue of Fast & Modified (new Scot's performance car mag)

Steve.
