Exhaust wrap - don't do it!!! unless it's stainless that is.

We have done this before a few years back and to a man we all experienced severe and rapid rot of the manifolds - which these days is quite expensive. The thinking is that the wrap allows moisture to stay around the manifold and wick up from the bottom - especially on shorter trips.

Am watching this with interest as just about ready to lift my body off on my resto project. Out of curiosity how much does the body weigh roughly - how many people would it take to lift it ?
