Would be good to meet and have a chat about problems with paint
scratchchin....Mmmm Ill bring me chalk board.....

Sausage meet discussion topic..."Problems with paint"

I foresee a few already.......

1. Paint can be accused of being "Paintist" .....Many times I have lusted after black over dark candy apple red.... and had to settle for matt black well hard...weeping

2. Paints durability is always a bit of a conundrum ...Flexible paint can peel...Flaked paint can burn in the sun...Clear coat can become like the flesh of a scabby horse...Or my 350i...yikes

3. Paint smells...Actually I like that one...smile

4. Paint can be a bastid to match...and will always show you up...hehe

5. Paint gets called bad names when the driver puts the tin on his car seat and then has to perform an emergency stop!!...FAIL

6. Paint comes in thousands of shades and sub shades which all have an effect on finish and durability...confused (When you have finally decide on the colour that you definitely wanted the git behind the counter shows you the latest colour chart )ranting

So paint is a problem to its self...Im inclined to agree there as it always makes me touch it before its dry.....Bastid...laugh

BiL is coming over tomorrow so will be filling baskets all day. Need to get the second row done to provide access for rendering and some other bits of maintenance.

Sunday will be working on Tamy if I can find the time.

Hi. I'll be giving it a miss tomorrow and will be under the car instead trying to see what's happened to the exhaust...

Hi Peeps.

The weather is looking really good for Saturday so if anyone is up for a BB and a cuppa then ill be there from 10.15am trying to save you places...argue..(Its going to be busy in the park as it generally is on a good day.)

Makes sure the beast is clean as I would imagine there will be a fair amount of tourist attention...smile

Ill bring the cattle prod as it can get a bit intense...hehe.

Cheers
