Hi, just trying the web (anything)

Was wondering how you get black shoe polish out of white/cream silk/cotton, with a bit of linen too (my wedding dress actually...)

Think I got it from the car I travelled in (a Rolls Royce too! - wouldn't have thought their seats would 'bleed'! I suppose I was a bit hot, but still! :/ )
Hi.

There are some Stain devil products..bear in mind the polish is a wax so you will need to braek down the wax with a solvent...I would only use isopropyl alcohol which is cheap as chips on the flea...Some soft clean sponge to dab onto the polish and afterwards dab with a mild detergent...maybe baby shampoo...I would test a small area out of sight with the alcohol...should be okay for satin...not sure about silk....

If you really are 45 it might have been a bit optimistic wearing a _white_ wedding dress.... ;^)
