Thanks for the info and the pictures.

All fits together.

There are a couple of stamps in the service book from the Bristol area around 2000 ish.
Interesting to know it still had a grey interior then.

prior owner to me had, I believe, bought it through the aforementioned greek gentleman.

And then spent a lot of money on chassis bits etc.

I have had to do nothing material in my ownership bar thorough service work and refurb of seats/door cards.

I quite fancy putting one of those ironing board things back on the boot though............

Guys

I have the red 400SE - KCR6Y - branded as a 460.
Bought it from a gent in Colchester 3 years ago.
I saw paper work when I viewed the car on the engine - think it was from RPI - unfortunately most of the history had been lost due to domestic upheaval when I picked the car up.
Never had time to follow through.
If anyone has further history/spec on motor or car would be delighted to hear.
It was the first wedge I ever went in, so can remember the huge grin it gave me. At the time (summer 2005) it was for sale near Poole/Bornemouth area. The young chap who owned it had bought it off ebay and tidied it up a bit. I think he possibly got it from up north somewhere (Huddersfield maybe) and it had been stood for a year or 2. It had an ali dash with a carbonfibre style adhesive covering which was very effective. The chassis was very rusty and there was an unresolved gearbox problem at the time which was why I walked away, otherwise it would have been my first wedge.

RPI vaguely rings a bell as the engine maker. They might be able to trace the engine number if you call them a call.

Thanks for the interest in the cars, we compete in the Dunlop TVR Challenge and race under the CTS racing banner, myself and Dave Stewart. Daves car is the red Griff which after a major engine failure at Snett this year is having a new engine built over the winter.
We started racing in 2010 sharing a 2.9 cosworth Taz.
All the build pics of both of these can be found here
https://www.facebook.com/groups/10150104127160858/...

There are a few pics of the build on the 350 here
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0...
The plan was to race this last season but due to work commitments and the orange griff we never finished it in time and it is now for sale!

The blue Taz is an unfinished project has a 2.9 cosworth in it would make a good track car having previously been raced in the TVR challenge.

The white Taz on the left Is a rolling race shell bought as a spare just incase our first race season didn't go to plan

As for the orange Griff it is completely stripped for a winter rebuild and will have pics as the work progresses.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for sharing all that with us, looks like you have a busy winter period coming up.

Good luck with the builds, and it would be great if you could drop in and keep us wedge nuts up to date.

Cheers
