If any of you guys are in the market for a well sorted 400SE I am toying with the idea of changing mine for a C4S.

For an everyday all weather car I'd have a C4S. For a 2nd or weekend car I'd have a 400. I'd want a very good warranty on the Porsche engine, or have quite a few grand in reserve in case the 911 engine went pop though.

Because a TVR is never going to throw up any bills is it.

True, but TVR tax is basic rate compared to Porsche tax.

Like a £10k engine bill ?
