True.. but now I'm aware of it..and it doesn't really match up with the oe badge and decals..

Question is, how to remove? I was thinking hairdryer to loosen the sticky pad, and used some cotton or string to slice behind it. Then I guess it's just rub and pick the sticky bits off?
Hair dryer.....with a plastic card don't use a screw driver on heated paint.

It doesn't need that V8 badge at all.

This may be more suitable, and it'd cover any bolt holes?

A bit late in replying but I think that's the genuine 70's Rover V8 badge as used on MGB GT V8s for example.

Hi Wayne

I had the same acquired taste V8 badge on my TVR 5 litre Wedge when I bought it-it came off the following day............. Really not necessary.

Cheers

Mr Sheen, surely an abrasive car polish would be more suitable? I'd use gtechniq p1 by hand

This is how mine arrived from the factory. Note the placement of the TVR badge and the subtle stripe between the rear light clusters matching the stripes on the side of the car.

While we are on the subject of badges, my car has the 350i stick on badge, but no TVR badge. Looking at other people's wedges, there should be a TVR logo on the boot lid? If so, does anybody know where to get one- is it the same badge as on the bonnet?
