Hopefully, Wednesday September 20th will be the biggest TVR meet ever at the Ace Cafe to celebrate the 70th etc. At the moment the weather is looking promising and hopefully it'll be good, but you can never tell. Still, the more TVR's turn up the better. I'm looking forward to it already. Don't forget there is good food and drinks there too.

Doubt it, think you will find the biggest tvr turn out at the ACE cafe is when we all met there and took a petition to Downing Street to save the factory and you only got in the car park I you agreed to take a worker to Downing Street as I did, it was very emotional 100,s of TVR,s from all over the country turned up and brought London to a standstill
Wow. Well we live and learn. That must of been some turnout. I didn't have a TVR then. Still, more cars we have this time the better. It'll be more fun to celebrate the 70th and of course the comeback of TVR with their new car. You might want to come over and celebrate their return. Sort of a victory over the petition seeing as they are making new cars once again.

I'm not sure who is attending but everyone is welcome. I'm not the organiser and I don't think anyone is. When I was there last month it was suggested that we try to get as many TVR owners as possible in September, though I appreciate it's probably too far or difficult, and out the way for many.

Like I said earlier that was an impressive turnout and it was for a good reason. The September meet at the ACE will just be a 70th celebration gathering and more owners that attend the merrier. I hope you'll be able to make it, though if it's far, or inconvenient for you then that's understandable.

The weather forecast is dry for Wednesday. Hopefully they've got it right but I'll keep an eye on it nearer the day. How many are planning to be there at the Ace? I'm going up there with a few friends. After all, it is the 70th anniversary celebration and the year TVR have unveiled their latest model. Let's hope it's a good turnout.

If my CTS and deep socket turns up in time I may pop along. I've plastered it across facilbakai as well so should be well advertised.

Weather looks good tomorrow so I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the ACE Cafe. Here is a picture of both my BMW and the Wedge together. The Wedge is prepared and ready for tomorrows trip. I love both of my V8 cars but nothing is quite as fun as the TVR. I just wish I could say that about it's reliability too, but I guess it's all a part of the fun.

I now have a 2.30pm meeting in Teddington tomorrow. Great, easier trip to Ace.

Socket hasn't turned up yet and won't have time before the meeting to swap the CTS and drive over.

So looks like I'm out.

Getting there with the car though.

An excellent turnout tonight. A big thank you for everyone who attended. I counted 25 TVR's in total, six of which were Wedges. It was virtually all TVR in the car park with the exception of a couple of Lotus' and a Ford Capri 3.1. An excellent celebration to mark 70 years of TVR. I spoke with quite a few TVR owners and of course had the pleasure of meeting Gavin and Andy and co.
Overall a fantastic evening which made me realise the days are getting shorter as it was dark when I left.

Hi Gavin

You should have said you have never sat in a Cerb before, as I would have got Simon to take you for a ride and even let you have a drive off my car yesterday. If the weather OK in October and I bring the Cerb down you can do both it will be my pleasure to let you do that.
