Make me an offer......
I've created a PH Classified Ad, but you already know most of the details smile
https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...

To those who have emailed me, you will be getting replies today.
The the person who contacted me via Linked In, that message has disappeared. Please try again or message me via PH.

I was planning to get an MoT but have run out of time as I'm in the middle of moving house.
Hence am planning to sell without an MoT unless I can find a local prepared to take the problem off my hands.
The car is in storage, but runs and is drivable.
Happy to give access to interested parties.

What's it worth?
That's still a problem.
The chassis and oily bits are fine, the issues are largely cosmetic caused by long term storage.
With an MoT it would be worth a lot more,
I'm open to offers,

Hi All,
Just to let you know I've sold this SEAC.
It is in good hands. A real enthusiast who many of you will know already,
I expect they will make themselves known shortly.

I look forward to reading about it's ongoing adventures!

Good evening all, just to confirm it's me that's bought Duncan's SEAC, and to say I'm excited is an understatement. Those of you that know me will not doubt be aware that I've hankered after one for some time so I can't thank Duncan enough for the opportunity to take charge of her. Yes she needs some work but the quality of the previous rebuild is obvious and the chassis and suspension look like new. The interior and paintwork does need some love, care and attention but my immediate priority will be to get it home in a warm and dry garage, flush the engine, cooling and fuel systems and brakes, replace all hoses and prepare it for an MOT. I'll keep you all posted on the progress. Cheers.

Well done Keith. I’m really happy for you as I know you’ve always wanted one. They are great cars and you deserve it as much as the car deserves you, as I know it will be well looked after and want for nothing. I’m looking forward to hearing about the progress over the coming weeks and months. Enjoy.

Tony. TCB.

Well for those that aren't on Facebook, the SEAC is now tucked up in my garage with it's new dehumidifier buzzing away. A long and somewhat stressful day collecting the car but it's here safe and well. The ignition doesn't work so had to hot wire the starter solenoid direct to the battery to get it going, but the engine is awesome. Not sure if it's a relay/wiring issue or whether it's an alarm/immobiliser issue - a job for tomorrow.

It is awesome and more to the point is my bucket list car. I reckon it needs £8500 spending on it to get it mint, but the engine, chassis and suspension are fantastic, and despite the lay up the brakes all work also.

Hi all, rather than continue with this original thread I'll start a new one and update as I go along. There are a few Wedge lads not on Facebook and as PH is searchable I will try my best to post updates every now and then. Thanks.
