Tried to wake up my wedge 400se from its winter rest but no go, I have a spark at the plugs and fuel pressure but it's not injecting the fuel
.I know a thread like this is running, but I have found other worrying things ,the steering relay has been bypassed, the the pump has always run all the time the ignition is on ,two fuses they have not blown but the plastic part of the fuse has part melted not good ,I have checked the earth connections for resistance from battery - lead to earth points around the car all ok then when I connect the battery and the resistance get a lot higher and noticed a voltage drop

Has any one got the same relay and fuse set up as me as not sure what half of them do ,
Its the last job of the restoration and I think this is beyond me so does anyone know of a good auto electrician near Colchester who knows there way around these cars

I've just finished rewiring my 400SE with new relay and fuse holders so that I can mount them to the bulkhead. My relay and fuse layout look like yours except I had an extra fuse and relay which I still haven't figured out what they do. If you look on the TVRCC website in the wedge technical archive you will find a wiring diagram for the 400SE. I used this to check the wiring colours to each fuse and relay and work out which relay/fuse did what. On my car the fuse block was identical to the layout of the fuses on the diagram so that made it easier. I could tell you what my relay and fuse layout is, but you really need to check the wiring colours because as we all know, each TVR can be different depending on which options were fitted and how they felt on the day the wiring was done. If you want my layout let me know and I'll post it here, but remember every TVR might be different.
