Doing a bit of research and just repeating a request on FB. Does anyone know how many (roughly) SEAC's or other wedges were built with solid lifters, the effect on performance and if anyone here has/had one?

Only SEAC wedges were offered with the optional paid extra of high performance solid lifters. I still have my original bill of sale and can see my car was specified with them.

You only really need them if you are fitting a seriously high performance cam like the M238 / 248 / 256.

Regular tappet adjustments are a PITA sometimes..

Are you thinking of buying a SEAC to complete your 'TVR' fleet ?

Been looking for a good SEAC (not requiring a body-off refurb) for a long time!

They only come up for sale every now and then, a bit like buses.

None for ages then 3 at once
