You have probably done this job by now but.........

With key in ignition and turned to ignition position, push in the pin and pull the barrel out by pulling the key

Where did you read about no key? I've just read through the topic and can't find a mention of no key
I'm not suggesting that you've got it wrong, I haven't read it anywhere and could do with being pointed in the right direction, thank you in advance

Hi Penelope, yes sorry you're right - it's not actually mentioned on this thread. Steve does have another thread going on the Facebook Wedge Owners page with considerably more detail, including the lack of key.

Yup need to update this thread, I bought a skeleton key but it won't come out.
I will try pushing the pin in and remove the barrel with the ignition on tomorrow thanks.

I had multiple immobilisers on Zee's SEAC; utimately the wiring is pretty simple, just rip all the 'security' wiring out! It was pretty obvious how to reconnect the original wiring. Saved a significant amount of weight too...

What an 'epic' TVR and project; Barry Zee of early Tuscan Challenge Racing fame... Wow, and the best of good luck returning it to full recommissioned form!
Thanks , going to start a new thread when the restoration begins.waiting for the engine spec from TVR power to come through , hope it's a bit special with having a dry sump.

If you take the OS rocker cover off you can poke your endoscope down one of the holes to check the cam as well :-)
