MOT time for the 400SE is coming up, some minor challenges to face on forehand.

I've tried the search option, but could not find the answer were i was hoping for. On the passenger side, the inner tie rod end is having play. Does anyone know where it is sourced from? Cortina MK4/5 just like the outside?

Cheers!

If it is a manual, cortina (taunus) mk4/5 is ok.
Myself went for a fully refurbished one as that doesn't cost a lot and less worry for another thing to wrong after the first fix....
With power steering I don't know.

Usually it's the nylon bush inside that thing you can turn and see in the picture, wearing out. So you need a new bush (which are stupidly expensive for a little bit of plastic).

You can as a short term measure just nip it up for the MoT. But if the bush breaks up it will cause more expensive wear on the metallic parts.

Also - it's called the "inner track rod end".
