Somewhere, and I’ve no ideas where, I read that the wedge was used in the 1970s and 80s TV series Dallas. It was likely at the time wedges were imported into the US, 1984-87, but not necessarily.

Does anyone recall this? I didn’t ever watch the show and really don’t plan to other than to see a wedge “in-period”. Pretty sure it didn’t kill JR though...

mmmm.....now was it when Bobby was on his way to see Dusty and Sue Ellen called about the...no...wait I think it was when Pam had a row with Afton and Clayton saw it and....mmm...or was it when J.R met up with Jock and Ray to pay Carter a visit....Mmmm...nope sorry...You are going to have to sit through the whole series....silly

They have been used as camera platforms. Dunno if on Dallas though.

It probably went passed when they were filming ...I think it happened in something like last of the summer wine...Might be twaddling though...smile

I expected Someone to add that what I read about was really that a TR8 was used on the show.

The long-forgotten source claimed it was a featured car, but nothing searchable supports that.
