Free Bonnet for someone

Had this bonnet kicking around for years - went to stick it on my car as a temporary one - stupid thing is 4" too long - free to a good home - soon please or it's going in the rubbish - collect from NP4 7UF - cheers

When I saw the title I thought for a minute you had found the bonnet I lost in transportation. (Long story). I had a replacement made by black cat panels, but I don't suppose yours has the heat shield on and in good condition?

Fits a S2 350i, although the heater intake is in a different place.
Two vents as per photo.
Stiffening sections breaking free from bonnet. Need rebonding.
Sound deadening loose.
More photos available.
Collect from Oban, west coast Scotland or it too is heading to the tip.

'tis always the way.
the other thing to remember is these things are quite heavy, bigger than you think and rather ungainly.
I brought the original home on the roof of the volvo as part of a collection of body parts. This one was fitted to the 350i I bought but I refitted the original.
Also have front & rear bumpers and sills, all pretty rough condition. Was saving just in case but if they were any use and it made collecting the bonnet worthwhile.......Some other spares here, anything particular you need?

yes adam - it's where the zoomies on my 496 nitro top fuel engine poke out !



Not really - I'm a about £35k short for a nitro engine for the car but nice idea

Oooh, sorry I don't check this board very often. I can certainly take that off your hands at some point. I'm not sure when I'm next heading your way, but I'm over towards Dundee.

Oooh, sorry I don't check this board very often. I can certainly take that off your hands at some point. I'm not sure when I'm next heading your way, but I'm over towards Dundee.

No worries, I haven't cut it up, yet. I'll pm you a couple more pics, it needs serious work to make usable unless you are stripping the inners and holding down with bonnet pins.

Crazy isn't it. And a week after you dump it there'll be a "has anyone got a spare bonnet?"
I've a small open ended shed where I keep the ride on mower. The old bonnet makes a decent half door/weather protection.....
