Looks like a feesible upgrade, agree that the old design is simple enough and just needs 6 monthly - 12 months maintenance like everything else no matter how much it is used...smile
Is it possible to post up a video of them operating?

Thanks

That's why I put it up hop it goes well.
It's the H brackets you will need and the actuator with a stroke of 80 to 100mm 80mm better but hard to find.

Hi, that looks good, well done.

One of the first pictures showed a longer slotted bracket, was that used in the end?
I am not at this point of replacement yet, but probably not far off as I think the passenger one is struggling and has been an MOT problem a couple of times in the recent past.

Do you have any pictures of the the final mounting points.

Thanks for the great info so far.

The original mounting point isn't far off so I went either side of it.
The stand off brackets are from a suspended conduit system I sourced locally.
