MY 390SE FRONT FOGS WONT WORK. IVE TRIED THE FUSE AND RELAYS .THEY SEEM OK.ANY SUGGESTIONS ?ALSO SHOULD THE FOG LIGHTS WORK WITH JUST THE BUMPER SIDE LIGHTS ON? IF SO HOW DO I MAKE THIS WORK BECAUSE THE PODS RISE EVEN ON SIDE LIGHTS.I HOPE THIS MAKES SENSE!

Allright no need to shout. The front spoiler lights are driving lamps (on mine in any case) and they only come on with the main beam. Also they should flash with the flash on the indicator switch you know the 'after you / out of the way' function, so try it and see what you think. Also on mine they seem a bit unreliable due to a bad bulb earth in the lamp.

mine work the same as your Matt, they come on when I flash! They also come on when the main beam is on, so it may be worth checking to see if main beam is working as well on the main head lamps. I also have a switch on the dash that I can turn them off with, it may be worth checking that also Mike, if your is the same. Edited by mark350 on Saturday 10th March 19:18

thanks for the reply.I too have a dashboard switch which illuminates when the lights are flashed. The main beam works ok but still no power to the fogs. Incidentally i thought i had seen pictures of wedges with bumper lights and fogs on only. I,ll keep fiddling.

Another thing to check is that the nasty white plastic connectors that TVR use arnt corroded. My 400SE's lights stopped working about 2 weeks after I bought the car. After lots of complaining to the garage that I bought the car from, I was told that these are the point of failure. so, one dry day, and armed with wire cutters, I remobved all the old connectors, and replaced them with he clear plastic and brass contact blocks you can buy, greased up the bare contacts and taped them up. so far ( 4 years later...) my lights still work
