Looking at weather radar there is a band of rain to the east and one to the west but both are moving North and will miss Swansea and Cardiff.
Met Office site still showing 95% chance of NO rain.
I've got the P5B out and wiped it over with a rag so if a 51 year old car can be there... even if it is held together with string and chewing gum.

Ah sorry bud, didn't realise you were part of the crowd so apologies for not coming and welcoming you,I have the white 140i, couldn't stay to chat as had the baby but will be sure to next month. Some awesome cars on show!
A big thank you to everyone for coming tonight. 31 cars and what a mix.
Loved the Fiat Panda Panda and the Armstrong Siddeley - one of my favourite cars of all time.
Thanks to Swanseaboydan for letting me sit in his Ferrari and to Trevor for the drink.
I met a couple of people (Lancia and Armstrong Siddeley) who live less than a few hundred yards from me who I didn't know had such interesting motors so local to me.
I'm sure Ryan will be along shortly and pop up some pics. They'll also be on the Facebook page.
If you attended tonight and you're not already on the Facebook page please do join it: Lisvane Car Group

This started out as just a monthly pub meet for a few locals but seems to be gaining traction and I'm very aware that there is an appetite for a run BUT I personally am loathe to organise it just yet until we see what the next CV19 announcement brings.
Thereafter, providing its viable i'd be happy to produce a suggested rout with a suggested day and start and end points but I've seen people getting into trouble for organising an event that got out of hand and do not want to be party to that.
Taking into account the different cars that attend, I'm certain there would be different requirements. I know at least one of our group wants fast A road action and others would prefer twisty B roads and others sedate back roads. After all, my P5B wouldn't want the same roads as my Chim, if you see what I mean so it maybe that we can suggest more than one route but start and and at the same place.
Caerphilly Mountain Cafe for breakfast and ending up at Sennybridge cafe for lunch maybe or perhaps something a little more sophisticated with an organised lunch at the end at a pub or restaurant
It would be interesting to hear what people want. Not that we can please all of the people all of the time.
And, of course if you're not getting what you want then maybe step up and organise something for like minded people.
It is fun to run together with similar cars but it does have risks (see 10Penceshort's story on PH), not least that people get carried away.

Regarding runs I agree - I tried the PH organised run once which was crap, mostly small hatches, subaru's and similar, on that - not one decent driver amongst 'em.
I was in the 7 club for years and lead small groups of 7's, but our big runs often got hijacked by idiots in ferraris, tvrs, and similar, who of course couldn't keep up with the 7's, on 7 type roads and several got crashed - one road in particular claimed a 355, 3 TVR's and some kind of 911 on one run!!
If you want to try and keep up in your chimaera, then you need chimaera type roads not 7 type roads, but the chim and Z28 would like similar roads, so they would be suitable on a run, your P5 would be suited to a classic type cruise which is fine if you like classic cruises.
If you try a run then you certainly need similar cars AND very important DRIVERS OF SIMILAR ABILITIES.
Good luck
Let me know

PS
Caerphilly is way too built up with houses to start - IMO you need to start somewhere more rural - abergavenny, llandovery, brecon etc etc.
