Saturday 27th October at Castle Combe is the Supercar Saturday in support of the Stroke Association. You can park up in a group and then get a 5-lap circuit ride in a range of fantastic cars including a McLaren 570s, a Ferrari 488 GTB and a Porsche Carrera GT. Around 45 cars in all with prices from £30 up to £60. There's also a Novice Autosolo run by Bristol Motor Club which anyone can enter in their road car and become a proper motorsport competitor.

This is the most fun you can have with your pants still on and it's guilt free because 100% of what you spend goes direct to the charity. Every one of the people running this is a volunteer.

Welsh motorsport legend and Goodwood winner Grant Williams says "I think it's a really important event" and he's right.

My bad Effkay, our charity event at Castle Combe is on Saturday the 27th October, so you can come after all. You're right, Bristol Motor Club is running a Novice Autosolo which is an excellent first competitive event and first step into motorsport. The main event is of course the on track rides and the cars available on the 27th include:

Fiesta Cup race
McLaren 570s
Subaru Impreza Sprint
Jaguar F Type R
Caterham K
Ginetta G20
Ferrari 488 GTB
Caterham Superlight
Radical SR4
Nissan GTR R35 800
Aston Martin V12 Virage
Mitsubishi Tommi Mak Rep.
Subaru Impreza
Porsche 997 Turbo
AMG C63
Radical SR3 RS
Audi RS6 740
BMW M3
Seat Supercopa race
Fisher Fury CBR1000
Ariel Nomad
Mk5 Cortina 5.4L
Porsche Cayman GT4
Caterham Zetec
Honda Civic Type R BTCC
MG ZR 170
Mitsubishi Evo 9 650
Porsche 998
Clio RS200
BMW M2
Porsche Carrera GT
Radical SR3 RSX
Saxo race
Fiat 500 Abarth
Corvette C7-R IMSA
Honda Civic Type R
Radical SR3
Porsche 987 Spyder
Caterham 7 Sprint
Lotus Exige GT race
MG ZS race

Yes, that's right, you can get a ride in McLaren 570s on track with the outright circuit lap record holder!

Question for joncon......... Did you (or anyone else for that matter!) do the Bloodwise show back in September?

We gave it a miss because the 2017 one was such a shambles. Just thinking about the show calendar for next year and wondered if we missed anything.
