Off Roading arround RCT area

Hi all I'm new here and i have had a bit of a dig but couldn't find anything conclusive.

i have a Ssanyong Rexton (large 4x4) and i would like to know if there are any areas where i can take the car off road legally, I tend to drive though lanes a lot and find the most disused ones possible (ones that are nearly dirt paths only) but i would like to actually drive it properly off the roads.

i have been reading about BOATs but don,t know if there is anything like that around the Rhonnda (or surrounding areas)
