Unmarked Police Cars, what ones you know?

ooh this reminds me, i saw a black e92 3-series coupe with a uniformed copper in it last week, dont know if it was a unmarked cop car for certain, but one to be wary of

saw the black evo on abercynon roundabout on friday, about 3 times to be exact. didnt have any marked cars with it or anything, but on the bridge that goes over the A470 (off slip from ponty to cilfynydd), it had 4 tripods on it(2 looking south bound & 2 northbound), with some sort of camera whether it be ANPR or speed detection i do not know. Possibly something to do with the rally but I think its bit far away unless cars were still travelling from cardiff to swansea via heads of the valley.

The Evo is down by Tesco's Pengam Green at the moment (lunchtime 04/12) I think they are doing vehicle checks.

seem in gwaelod - y - garth today parked up in thier den, silver 5 series BMW salloon. reg CN07DFG, if i remember correctly. Couldnt notice any aerials or strobes on it but sat next to it was a marked versions of the same car with similar plates.

For the second friday running (yesterday), the cameras on tripods were on the bridge just down from the garage by abercynon roundabout. Seen them late, doin a bit more than 70 MPH, jammed the anchors on, was expecting to get pulled on the roundabout but the copper didnt budge. The evo wasnt on there though but a marked up ST220 instead.

I have seen the Evo FQ400 that resides around central Swansea, it's black, 55 or 56 reg I think. There is also a Black Zafira GSI and 54 or so Plate Vectra GSI, both with lights behind the grilles, although i haven't seen these for quite a while...

Silver BMW 3330d saloon, reg WX56 something or another, past it by Leigh Delamere heading east and then coming from Swindon the other day I overtook it on the M4 sliproad heading west, it came up behind me VERY fast, i was doing 90 so pulled over and he flew past and put the blues on, lucky escape I'd say but beware

Isn't it funny how when people go on about enforcing speed limits and how (apparently) dangerous it is to have to constantly keep looking at their speedo's to make sure they don't go too fast, but they can manage to spot unmarked police cars out on the road, clock their reg, colour, location, what they've etc etc??
Just a thought.....

seen the unmarked red vectra CN57 JZU in gwaelod-y-garth this week. Also seen a silver mondeo ST 155 CN06 DEU i think it was. it had 3 aerials on top but didnet look like a copper driving it either. cant imagine a traffic cop driving a diesel ST 155, unless its seriously chippped up.

On friday there was an ANPR sting in st mellons but didnt notice any unmarked cars, only 3 or 4 marked up ST220's. are these only used on ANPR duties anymore. only ever see the volvo's and BMW's on motorway duties

I was following a Grey Mazda 6 Estate with a blue light on its roof the other day on the Ely link road by the tunnel, but no idea if it was police or any of the other emergency service cars???

Grey Volvo saloon (I can't tell volvo's apart but probably a s60) CN56 ACJ on the m4 between j33 & j34 1.15 today, had pulled a bmw x3.

Seen again today (from a distance) at a protest at Swansea uni.
Strobes behind front grille, but white when off so hard to notice unless you're looking.
