Nardo Grey, or whatever Skoda call it, Octavia VRs in convoy with a marked X5 on the M4 near j48 this morning

I’ve started following a Instagram page that makes me laugh, it’s called fed_spotter_cardiff, it mainly posts photos of police vans and CID cars, marked x5s etc but occasionally it puts up photos of actually intresting unmarked cars. Not sure if they are all plod but as below












The only one of those I’ve seen is the VRS and the xc90, today I also saw a black Mazda 3 At magor

Saw the silver focus on Newport road and then a white Octavia VRS in Ely

I saw a grey Skoda Octavia saloon by Ewenny Roundabout a few weeks ago all lit up like a Christmas tree.

The Nardo Octavia again today, near Margam Crematorium. It was on blues and two's, have a feeling its being used for training purposes.

I saw a silver Volkswagen Transporter at about 14:20hrs (Sunday 20th June’21) on the top road in Cwmavon(A4107) with two ambulances
The unmarked transporter was lit up with strobes in the front grille & when it over took me on the rear doors too
Registration was CK18OUL

I saw the red Seat Leon Cupra ST on the M4 near Sarn, couldn't really miss it with all the lights going. The black A6 saloon was passing Margam Park this afternoon, very stealthy, clocked the lights in the grill.

White Transit Custom on the M4 near Port Talbot yesterday evening. Strobe lights on the front and rear bumpers and windscreen and rear windows.

Grey Mercedes Vito near Llandarcy today, I think it's part of the fire arms team.

Blue Leon Cupra hatchback with three marked cars pulling a Focus over on the M4 near Pencoed this morning.

Dark Pug 508, followed closely by VW Caravelle and later a Range Rover Evoque. No lights in the windows, very discrete, charging down the M4 this afternoon at good speed.

Black/grey Volvo XC90 plate started CK21 around Newport today, in convoy with 2x X5s a marked x5 and 5 3 series

Still seeing the usual stuff but noticed the other day a 14 plate Volvo v40 attending a crash at magor

Also at magor yesterday a grey 3 door golf GTI. Plate was PE18UDX

Seeing more Volvos again now, seen a couple of v90s and a s60, all have been black with cameras on the boot lid.

I had CN14 CVY behind me a few days ago, all lit up like a Christmas tree! It was between Abergavenny and Monmouth, on the dual carriageway. The MOT website says it's an Audi A3 registered in 2014, and hasn't had it's first MOT yet (due in 2017) I know police cars don't need an MOT as they service their own vehicles. It comes up as a red car, but looked very dark ( maybe black or possibly dark red) as it went past me. It had all its blue lights on, but no siren. It looked a bit old to be a police car, so it definitely blends in when it's not using the blue lights.
