I saw the S5 there. Looked really good on those wheels. We managed to get in the tarmac car park.

Weathers looking a bit bleak, are people going? It'll be my first meet.

Yes people are still going, how many, no idea but there will be some there.

Hoping to have a few newbies attend tomorrow with a couple of niceties not seen before at the meet but who knows until we're there. There will be a Porsche presence no matter what. 😊

Good turn out this morning... sadly I was mainly down there to get my hair cut, just time for a quick look around the car park and then off for a family day out.

Plenty of Scoobies smile

just a heads up to anyone going to the brekke meet in Cross hands , I noticed a speed camera van on the flyover on the dual carriageway on the approach to cross hands early on the sunday morning of the last meet (Aug 27th) now this just may have been a coincidence , but since I don't believe in them , be careful if attending , there always on the look out for easy prey !!!

Cruise Culture was happening on that day in Carmarthen, more likely after attendees of that.

Chaps - I've finally got something interesting! I've bought a Sylva Striker - there are some issues I've got to sort out (quite a lot in all honesty) but once I've got them sorted I'm going to start coming to this breakfast meet again! Which probably means nothing to most of you!!

On a separate note - be careful when approaching the Pont Abraham Services from Swansea heading towards X hands. There's a 50mph zone on the approach to the roundabout - they've started putting a cameravan in the layby on the roundabout - you can't see it before it gets you so just go steady there.

Ask me how I know......

The Stryker is a good car. I came very close to building one a few years ago. Mel Coppick from near Hereford bought out the design and renamed it Raw Stryker. He has sold it on now.
Toyota 4Age twin cam engine with supercharge option. Test drive was SOOOO good!
Strykers have a great reputation in racing/sprints/hill climbs. Cost was approx£12k with new parts, engines being Jap imports.

I'm away next weekend, but thought I'd post and add to the speeding warnings - the police have been having a crack down on the 30's around Crosshands recently - they pulled an S2000 heading past the Square the other morning while I was waiting for the barbers to open and the barber said they've been doing it a lot of late...

Let’s hope it’s dry then. Looks like it will be at present.
