Anyway, I live in Düsseldorf these days, and have of course met petrol head people since being out here, albeit over 't boarder in the Netherdutchland.
Two guys are interested in joining me next time, but they both hold Dutch passports. Will this pose a problem being allowed on base?
never had a problem before and had various nationality passport holders attendTwo guys are interested in joining me next time, but they both hold Dutch passports. Will this pose a problem being allowed on base?

At Marham I had had mice in the air/heating system, resulting in my passengers getting pebble-dashed with seed husks and foam at any speed over 80 mph. Marham did a good job of clearing the airways!
Now I have had mice in the electrics......grrrr.....so am busy soldering and replacing wiring, and finding new gaiters for the gear lever and handbrake. Nearly fixed, so am ready for the next track event.
Seems strange that it is close to freezing outside now, when it was 30 degrees only 3 months ago. Roll on April....:
Well its been a while lol.
But finally, after juggling a house move, work and the like i've put something together for your viewing pleasure.
I only attended on the sunday (one of the Saab Mafia) so only had footage of that day (nearly 50gb worth). This event is really difficult to film since we're restricted to the paddock area when not hooning it round the track. Plus not much in the way of scenery to get a perspective of speed. So with that in mind I made this short vid, hope you enjoy.

Gents, happy Christmas to one and all!
@dom, bad news about the Rex amigo! Gotta be worth repairing surely? Not got a confirmed date as yet but myself and George will be pushing for one when we return to work next week.
@mark, love the vid, can I post it on our website please? Next time, find me and I'll get you out on track to film.

It wasn't George QB, it was me.... And I can't for the life of me get Aved to play ball.
@Mark411, what editing software do you use? Probably final cut.....
Sorry George, sorry rtv. Not to worry......dry days are now but a distant memory, but a lovely one. Since then I have reattached the radiator to the car (It had broken it's mounts and was floating loose), changed some suspension mounts and had the rear shocks changed. I have also fixed two lots of mouse damage, including losing a good part of the electrics, so am now ready to roll again before something else goes wrong!@Mark411, what editing software do you use? I'm currently using Adobe Premier Elements 10, easy to use once you know where the good tools are lol. But yeah, getting trackside to film some action next time would be fantastic. By all means, feel free to post the link onto the site.rtv said:

@RTV I thought the turbo had blown, I was going to run a different turbo setup. I however did some reading and I had some suspicions the turbo oil feed/drain lines were wrong. I got some new lines made up and problem solved!
