How about the East Anglian PG Good Pub Guide idea with ratings for food, beer, size & condition of car park? For starters I would propose:

Lifeboat at Thornham - 3/5 food, 4/5 beer, 3/5 carpark
White Horse at Brancaster Staithe - 4/5 food,4/5 beer, 4/5 carpark

Then I'm sure others will think differently

Moon and Mushroom in Swilland (about 6 miles north of Ipswich)

5/5 beer (it really is that good! Umble Ale and Brewers Gold are favourites)
4/5 food (not a huge menu but good honest home-cooking - no food on Sundays though)
4/5 carpark (some room at the front, but also a big overflow carpark to the side of the pub)

My local, and well worth a visit.

Bell at Walberswick - Food 4/5, Beer 4/5, Carpark 1/5 but massive public carpark 100 yds down the road - free in the Winter.
