I'm looking forward to the day also, I spoke to Richard today and he is also looking forward to it!

Just hope my car is ok with its slight clutch problem!

I will have to find the towing eyes! Anyone know where they're kept on the Boxster?

Mark,

Seen your post on the S2K forum. Looking forward to seeing you all there. You should have quite a convoy!!

I'll certainly be along for a bit hopefully with either the Chimaera or the 205 turbo. Just got to sort out a few niggles so I'm not sure if I'll have a car that works properly by then

I'll definitely be along with my 205. Looking forward to it. Be interesting to see how the car compares to the estimates I was given when it was rebuilt.

Its usually in the tool roll with the spare in the front compartment.

I think a few of them might just come down for a look, were see on the day.

Weekend early start might put the convoy down to a couple. lol.

Just a quick Question, When you say towing eyes, does that mean one for the front and rear?

I have located mine, just that there is only one! Which I guess is sensible as you can only tow/be towed!

Hi All

Hopefully you are all looking forward to Saturday.

Every weather report I check is different but the general opinion is dry but cloudy.

With regard to towing eyes, the only reason I mentioned this is that it can make it quick and easy as a strapping point for the vehicle. If you do not have them it is not a problem as there are usually plenty of other places with which we can tie the car down.

Fun starts at 9.30 and we will run until complete so there is no time limit and you do not have to get up too early!

See you all Saturday.

Regards

Neil @ LPS

If this is still open, I might give this a try - if dry I will test the Aston. If not, see what the BMW does...... both are old ladies but both should touch 300bhp on a good day...

Yeah, thanks for a good day – I’ll probably be back to sort the boost on the 205 in the near future so I can make use of the excess fuel being thrown into the engine!

Was nice to meet a few local car enthusiasts.
