I'm definitely coming too.

April 2017.... Hmmm.... I think that makes it precisely 10 years that I've been bringing the Red Nova to Marham.
And most bits have survived! Which in itself is a shock! Lol

Haven't got a clue if my car will be ready, it's still at the garage with its engine just about to be removed to fit a new clutch, cam belt and water pump, and there are various other bits awaiting fitment on it. Fingers crossed they get it sorted, if not I'll be sending an email in a few days with a change of car details....

That shouldn't be an issue, just use the 'Contact Us section' of the website so the new details will come through to me and we can ensure you can get in. The main thing is you've got a place so we will see you!

Regards,
Steve.
Trackday Team.

Many thanks Steve, I shall see how it goes.

Any laps undertaken in either of the other cars I could bring will be somewhat genteel......

You'd be welcome to take the Merc out for a play...

To all those already booked on, see you at the weekend, the weather looks promising ....and hopefully I haven't just jinxed it!

when I booked, I couldn't see the bit for support car details - is there something I need to do to get my tow car through the gate ?

Did you book your tow vehicle or track car in? Either way, so long as we have details for one you'll be fine!

Hi, is the use of a gopro permitted in the car?

Also, I'm sure I read somewhere about a mobile tyre fitter maybe being present. Was that a possibility, or did I imagine it?

Go-Pro's are permitted, securely fastened. Any external ones need to have bolted/screwed mounts and not suction cups.

I did look into a mobile tyre fitter, and was after suggestions but one I found wasn't interested as there may not be enough guaranteed work so at this time, it's a no, sorry.

Just to add, the nearest Shell Optimax 99RON filling station is in King's Lynn, on Pullover Roundabout junction of the A17 and A47, approximately 10 miles from the main gate.... for those passing that way (Peterborough/Lincoln).

Just to say I'm booked on for the Saturday in a 'zebra' Westfield with two other friends who are also in '7' type cars. We're really looking forward to it!

Just one question - what time is the driver briefing?

Steve, I've sent a message giving details of alternative cars. Just in case......

Thanks.

(Apparently the engine is now back in what I was hoping to bring, it 'just' needs the front springs, discs and pads fitting, a basic service and other bits and bobs, an MoT and then me to insure and tax it. All by the end of tomorrow?!)

An excellent day! Despite being hopelessly unsuited to this sort of driving, the Laurel did a fair few laps in the end and was an amusing thing to trundle around in (with plenty of body roll).

Thanks to all concerned for putting this on for us, hope everyone has a great day tomorrow.

Commiserations to those who had car trouble.
