I want to make my Cayenne Turbo sound a little better by taking out the secondary cats. The off the shelf replacement pipes to do this are fairly expensive (although simple), is anyone able to recommend a custom exhaust fabricator around here who could do that sort of thing?

I have used Chris Tullet before but he now only does high end motorsport work and isn't very local.

My friend has an engineering company and makes all sorts of things, including custom exhaust for racecars etc. His work is top notch, he's also a gunsmith which hopefully shows how precise and detailed his work can be.

He will be able to help you out, unfortunately he is in Florida at the minute with his gf and daughter smile

however, you can email him on alexcollins484@btinternet.com and you might get a reply this week.

His unit is near Mendlesham, just off the A140.

good luck smile

BTW, he will probably recommend using V-band flanges for the replacement pipes. He loves V-bands smile
It also makes it very easy for you to replace/remove the pipes come MOT time...

The Milltek ones cost about £300 but they only fit into the full Milltek system as the bore size is slightly different, which is £1k.

The off the shelf bolt in ones which fit the OEM system which are virtually identical are about £650 odd.

+1

Demand were excellent - they made a complete stainless system from front to back for an A4 I had up until last week. Really nice guys, Golf GTI as a loan car and the quality of work is incredible.

There is a place just past Stonham Barns called Longlife Exhausts. Got some good reviews and has been used by some PistonHeaders in the past.

That'll be Demand Engineering. They run a Longlife franchise.

Demand made up a SS exhaust for my Lancer. Here's some pics of the work, they're happy to let you wander around the workshop as long as you are sensible.

One for an Audi I think.

A professional outfit with a good attitude, the lads are all petrolheads and as mentioned, a GTi for a loan car.

I used to deal with a company called ICS Engineering in Elmsett, just outside ipswich, and they've done some work on a few mates cars and they do a good job for a good price. They're a powerflow franchise as well, if that helps
